How to use this EMOM timer

  1. Choose your number of rounds and interval length.

  3. Begin each movement when the round starts.
  4. Rest until the next beep, then repeat until the workout is complete.

Example EMOM workouts

  • 10 min beginner: 8 kettlebell swings every minute.
  • 12 min strength: 3 deadlifts at the start of each minute.

What is an EMOM timer?

An EMOM timer starts a new interval at a fixed time, usually every 60 seconds. You do the assigned work at the start of the interval and rest for the remaining time.

Is EMOM good for beginners?

Yes, if the movement and volume are appropriate. Start with fewer rounds, lighter loads, and enough rest to keep your form clean.

Can I use this for E2MOM workouts?

Yes. Set the interval to 120 seconds for every-2-minutes-on-the-minute training, or use any custom interval that matches your workout.

Should I keep sound on?

Sound cues are useful during workouts because you may not be looking at the screen. You can turn sound off and follow the visual countdown instead.
